about me

My artwork is often self-based photography that is digitally manipulated through much use of filters. The artwork is closely connected to my written work (check the tab at the top of the page), and often runs on the same themes - my artwork also illustrates my written work.

I concentrate on myself as subject matter, because I come cheap as a model, and also because it is a form of expression that links up with everything that I do creatively - not ego, but the difficulty of perception, understanding, and confusion that is so much a part of what it is to be human.
